How to book flight to Kiev (KBP, IEV).

Chernobyl Tour, Ukraine: Reactor, Nuclear Disaster/Accident

If you are set to go on a Chernobyl-Prypyat tour (or another tour we offer on this website), we expect you to arrive in Kiev at least the night before your tour.

Air and railways are by far two most popular ways of traveling to Kiev, Ukraine.

There are two international airports in Kiev:

  • Kyiv Boryspil International Airport - KBP
    (aka Kiev Borispol) and
  • Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport - IEV

Majority of international flights - especially those bound from Europe, the Americas, and Asia -  arrive at KBP.  The other Kyiv's airport Zhuliany is  mostly used for domestic flights as well as some international ones too.

Most major airlines like UIA (Ukrainian International Airlines),  Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, Delta, Polish LOT , etc. feature convenient flights from many European air hubs. Some airlines have flights to other Ukrainian cities with international airports like Kharkiv (Kharkov), Odessa (Odesa), Lviv, etc.

We suggest that you start your search with online websites like and, and Hotwire.

For good deals, you might also want to check low-cost air carriers like for example  Wizz Air and Air Baltic..

Sometimes we offer package deals, but this is not something you cannot beat by doing it step-by-step on your own.
